March 28, 2011

Alrighty mom,.... first off to answer your questions, I am serving in Waipiolani (Mililani area) the weather has been crazy, raining and cloudy mostly but always 70-80 degrees so I can't complain. It's starting to be sunny more... I'm on a "treatment" for my stomach, I don't' know if you remember a few years ago when I was having problems and I was on meds... anyway it's the same ones and the side effects aren't as bad as last time but are still hard to handle at times. I keep telling myself... just 9 more days and I'll be good. Transfers are April 6, we'll know whats going on the Sunday before so I'll keep you posted. My comp got extended so she won't be going home til May 13th. And yes I got your package.... it took so long cuz they accidentally sent it to Elder Brough instead. lol. man oh man. But thank you so much for the dried fruit and the acne gel!!!! It's already done miracles! :) Ha, I can't wait to see Grandma and Grandpa playing with Copper, I'm so glad they are enjoying him!!!! So I've become really good friends with this Visitor Center Sister, her Name is Amanda Graves, (she goes by Mandy too) lol. And she is from Utah so we are planning on hooking up after the mission. She just goes home a month before me. hopefully we'll be comps one of these days. Oh how did Grandpas party go!!!! I hope you told him Happy Birthday from me!!! and gave him a big hug!
Well things are going good here. Rebecca got baptized on Saturday and she is just glowing and as happy as can be! The service was so perfect too! I love it! She is getting married on Friday too and signed up to feed us so we could go and be a part of it. We have plans on getting together too, we've become very close. Jackie is doing great she is leaving for Greece Tuesday to meet up with her husband, so we won't see her til mid April. I hope everything goes well while she is gone! We have a new investigator, Dustin. He wants to get baptized right away but we're worried he is getting baptized for the wrong reasons... we will see. He meet with him tomorrow so we'll be able to get a better feel for him. I finally got a letter from Ray! It was so nice to hear from him. He is doing great and still just working as hard as ever! Well tell everyone Hi and I love them!!!! Talk to you next week!
Much Aloha

I haven't gotten any package yet. But I should get it this week. I'm so jealous that they are doing a 4 day school week now. That would've been AWESOME for me!!! Wait... I probably went to school only 4 days a week anyway. lol. Well Things are good here. It's been a crazy week. Our ward had a Filipino Night and it was a lot of fun. Joy (investigator) came and had a really good time. We went on exchanges so I was in New Town for a day. It's always fun to be able to go to another area. Jackie is doing great! She is getting ready to go to Greece to meet her husband there for 15 days! I hope she still will read and pray and everything while she is gone! We are going to get her a military Book of Mormon so she can give it to her husband. and Rebecca is going to be baptized this Sat! She is so stoked! I just love our investigators here! They are so awesome! Finding more people to teach is still a struggle here but we were able to find a family... they are strong members of the Church of Christ (englesis ni cristo) and have lots of questions but want us to answer using the Bible.... I'm not very learned in the Bible yet but they are way nice and we'll be seeing them again next week so that's good. And next year I can be home and help Dad with tax season so he can get some rest and take care of himself!!!!! I'm excited to hear how Ryan does in his meet! Tell I'm GOOD LUCK from me! Well I don't have lots of time so I will talk to you later! LOVE YOU!

March 14, 2011

Hey Mom, Yeah it's been crazy we got the Tsunami warning and it was suppose to hit pretty hard but I'm in Mililani which is on high grounds so we were safe. It ended up being only 6 feet and caused little damage, it mostly hit Big Island and Maui but no one was hurt. I can't believe how many people they are predicting to be dead. It's so sad. I heard that they have 8 missionaries unaccounted for as well. I feel so bad for their families. :( Yeah Elder and Sister Webster are in my zone. Funny couple, he thinks I should know everyone in Star Valley regardless how old they are. But I told him Chuck Jones sounded really familiar and I'm pretty sure I know who he is. lol. Well It's been a pretty crazy week. First the Tsunami warning and craziness and then the next night our neighbor collapsed and died. She was only in her 30's and just had a baby. :( We had to meet the ambulance and help.... my companion is having a really hard time. She can't get the picture of the lady lying there with her eyes open out of her head. I feel so bad for her. I think I'm still in shock. It was a long night. Other than that, I'm doing a lot better, I have to watch what I eat and see what hurts me and what doesn't. They think it's ulcers but we'll see. Sister Teururu has been getting bad migraines I think it's stress cuz she is going home soon and her home life isn't good. It's really hard and sad. :( But we've been working hard and our investigators are doing awesome. And we are finding new people to teach. So things are moving along in our area. Thanks for all you do!!! Mom its good to hear you are getting more and more energy and it sounds like the family is doing well. I'll talk to you next week!

MOM!!!
Hows everything going? That sucks that there's so much snow! It's so weird to me that it's still winter! It's been rainy and stormy the last little bit here and the fog is pretty bad, which sucks. but I think my body is finally getting used to it. So memories of grandpa I have.... are pushing me on that tire swing out in their backyard, catching Salamanders, me and him just giving each other such a hard time every time I go visit and fighting over the remote and what to watch. lol. Gosh I have a lot of fun memories with Grandpa! Be sure to give him a HUGE hug from me and wish him a very Happy Birthday!!!! So this week as you can see has been interesting.... my stomach problem I had 3 years ago is back, and I had to go to the doctors :( they are running some tests. :S UG. I swear since I've been back to Oahu my health has just sucked. But everything is okay and good. Well, Things are going great with Jackie, she's been coming to all of church and is loving what we've taught her so far.... we're teaching Word of Wisdom on Wed so hopefully that'll go over okay. She likes her wine. lol. Man. Other than that we've been dong a lot of visiting and tracting. Do I know Hailey Ricks? I hope she says yes too! :) lol. What is Ryan going to run in outdoor track? Well Mom, quit feeding Kia so much!! and don't' feed her human food and I'm sure she'll slim down before summer starts lol. I know how ya'll feed her at home... it's so bad! Well I will talk to you later!!! Love you tons!

THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM!!!! I'm glad Grandma and Grandpa are liking Copper! and Grandma is spoiling him! :) I miss that little guy!Well That's neat that ya'll were able to visit with Grandma and Debbie! I bet that was nice. It's good that you are continuing to feel better. Sister Teururu was sick the beginning of the week so we bought medicine for both of us and started taking it. ( I didn't want to get sick! Again) and we are both healthy now and doing good. Jackie is doing awesome. Her husband knows that she is meeting with us and is actually very happy about it, I was kinda worried cuz he is Catholic and his parents are pretty hard core into it. Oh and get this! A new batch of missionaries came in and there is an Elder Justin Max Brough from Syracuse, UT here. Crazy huh?! Yeah. I didn't get to met him but I've heard all about it already. Our new zone seems pretty fun, we are all pretty young on the mission most are 6 months out or younger. It's cool. I wore the burgundy cardigan that grandma bought me to church and I got SOOO many compliments!!!! Everyone loved it! Be sure to tell her Thanks and Good Job!!! :) So I think I've told you about this lady we are teaching named Joy. She is an interesting character, we saw her last night and she gave us her church's (Catholic) newsletter and they are actually having some Mormons from Laie come on Saturdays to answer questions about the church and to clear up rumors. She was so excited and think it's the neatest thing ever. She says she thinks they are missionaries, they have name tags..... but she loves that her church and ours are being friendly. She loves Mormons and our church and says she will come and check out our services. And she wants to talk to Father Paul about telling the members to let us in cuz she's learned so much from us.... pretty crazy I won't lie. but could be a really good thing. Oh I was wondering...... Well I love you and miss ya'll tons!!!!! Not much else is really going on. Love you!

Mom!!!!
First off, I'm SO GLAD you are feeling better! I've been praying for you and Bro. Diehl (ward mission leader) 's daughter put your name in the temple for me. :) You had quite a few people here praying for you. :)! Tell Grandma and Grandpa I say "Hows it?" lol. Thanks for the prayers. Rebecca has a baptismal date March 26th, she is moving out of her fiances house March 1st so keep praying for her. Jackie came to all of church this Sunday and went really well. She's amazing, she's so cute,.... they had the dinner calendar going around R.S. and she asked me what it was so I told her and she's like awesome and signed up to feed us. She's so excited about it and thinks it's awesome members feed us. lol. Well the weekend before Valentines Day I found out Freddie and Hiilei (investigators from Maui) got baptized and I'm SO excited for that! :) Amy Aagard wrote me and sent me some copies of her Spanish Missionary Book so I could learn Spanish, I thought that was so cute of her. She is R.S. President in Rexburg and I know she is doing an amazing job. Oh and there is a Justin Max Brough that is going to be coming to serve in Hawaii hum... Wed! Crazy huh. He is from Syracuse UT.... Okay.... so things are good here. Me and Sister Teururu are both staying here for any other transfer, then she is pau (done) with her mission. So crazy how fast time goes. I really feel that it's just going to go faster and faster. So today was a different P-Day, we had a Sisters P-Day in Laie at the Visitors Center. We had some professionals come and talk to us about make-up, diet and exercise, and fashion and that stuff. It was really cool. But we didn't get back to our area til 4:30PM and had to leave at 7am to get there so we are cut on time to get our laundry and shopping and cleaning done. but that's ok. While I was there.... yup I ran into Terri!!!! We took pics that I'm sure she'll email to me or to you so you will see. It was so good to see her! She seems to be doing good. So that was a nice surprise. Well I best be going, LOVE YOU! and miss you! Hope you keep feeling better and that you stay safe driving! Take care!

MOMMA! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!
I hope you get feeling better! I'm glad Grandma and Grandpa are there helping you out. Tell them I say HI!!!! and that I love them! What is Ryan going to run in track? Well things are going good here. We found 2 new investigators last week. So we are so excited to teach them this week. Marcel and her 8 year old daughter Angel, they are from the Philippines. Well the mom is. They are super nice. Things with Rebecca and Jackie are going well. They are awesome, we just love them to death! There are 2 members here, Sister Patterson and Dorothy Jones and they always take care of us,..... last night we got a frozen pizza, salad, pancake mix, toothpaste, and other random things from them cuz they think we are going to starve. Sister Patterson is determined to make us gain 50 lbs!!!! :S lol, crazy lady. we tell her that it's not good. She just laughs. She feeds us healthy though so no worries. I haven't gained any weight in this area. Transfers are next week! So crazy. I'm pretty sure me and Sister Teururu will stay here though. It just makes sense cuz I just got here and it will be Sister T's last transfer before she goes home. Well I love ya'll and keep ya'll in my prayers! Love you so much!!!!

Mom!!!
Things are going good I attached a pic of me and Sister Teururu with our sweet sunglasses! :) Yeah, I'm good all healed up.... well mostly. but I'm good. ha, I just laugh at myself when I think about it. The situation was pretty funny, I won't lie. Well we've been just busy doing the work, doing a lot of tracting and it's paid off. We have quite a few appointments set up for this coming week so hopefully they will all hold! Our investigators are doing good, Jackie will have a hard time with the Word of Wisdom and a few other things but hopefully she will understand why. And Rebecca is doing awesome we are going to talk to some members and work out plans for her to move in with them til she gets married. and We just started teaching a lady named Joy.... she teaches Sunday School in the Catholic Church. Sweetest lady ever but the lessons are interesting. I love it. I love the surprises the mission gives you... seriously I do. Well that's all for now... Oh tell Grandma THANK YOU for the package!!! It was awesome and the things were much needed and the dried fruit is perfect and delicious!!! Have a great day and I love and miss you tonz!

January 31. 2011

Good to hear that things are going well... That's exciting about Justin and Sarah! You'll have tell them hi for me. And I'm sure Dad does great at his calling! Does he enjoy it? oh and NO TREATS!!! Seriously I'm trying to be healthy, if you want to send snacks, dried fruit or healthy cereal is the way to go, i would love that so much more than junk food.... cuz members always have dessert for us so I get my fill.... trust me. lol. Thanks! :) Well.... this transfer has been a rough one. Week one I got the flu, then got better but Sister Teururu got the flu then on Wed morning we locked ourselves out of the apartment (we exercise outside) so I decided that I would climb the balcony to get inside to unlock the door.... well first of all I'm short.... second of all I totally misjudged the ledge and yup fell... I landed on my left knee, wrist, and shoulder..... in our neighbors backyard.... kinda embarrassing. I got banged up pretty good, I was pretty worried about my shoulder cuz it was the same one I disconnected snowboarding awhile back. Then I got the flu AGAIN on top of it all... sucks... then we got the call that President was coming down for interviews Thurs.... not good, I knew he was going be not too happy with me. Well interviews went great, I got a little scolding then he said.... well you're from Wyoming, you climb everywhere I'm sure so of course you would think you could here.... don't do it again. lol. man oh man. then he made me promise to go to the doctor to get everything checked out, even though I insisted I was fine..... you don't' argue with President though so I went to the Doctor... and I'm find just really swollen and bruised... my shoulder bone is separated a bit, so I just have to keep an eye on it and I should have full range of motion by Friday if not I have to go back to the doctor cuz something isn't right.... but I'm sure it's fine. He gave me drugs and I'm feeling better... other than the flu... still a bit sick from that. but me and Sis T are sick of being sick so we are going to be out working hard all week. So that's been my week. I was thinking though,.. ya'll should buy a tape recorder thingy at WalMart and record a tape for me and I'll do the same for ya'll. It's fun to get tapes. Just a thought :) Well, I hope things keep going great for ya'll. I love ya'll and miss ya'll. But things are great here! I love the mission, it has it's challenges but man, it's so worth it all. Til next week!

January 24, 2011

Well, this area is completely different than my last two. We have a lot of work to do, for sure. We found a new investigator named Jackie. She is in the medical department for the army. She is a very sweet and fun lady. She cooked us dinner last night and we had a bomb lesson. So hopefully things will continue to progress, she was raised Catholic but hasn't practiced it in years, she doesn't know if she believes in God but does believe in a Higher Power. She is very open minded. How is Ryan feeling? Any better? I heard you got to see and visit with Brittney at a wrestling match. That's cool. She told me all about it. :) Is Ryan thinking about doing wrestling again for next year? Is he going to do track? Well I hope all is going well for ya'll! I love you and I'll talk to you next week!!!!

Hey mom!
Thanks SO MUCH for the package! I loved it!!!! The Calendar is great! And all the pics and photo album!! :) just great! Thank you so much! The shirt is great too! Good to hear you are doing better.... I've actually been sick with the flu the last couple days :( totally sucks. But I'm feeling much better. The zone leaders gave me a blessing last night and the ward missionary leader and some members have brought over soup and medicine. So that was nice. Well I am in Miliani my companion is Sister Teururu. She is from one of the Micronesian islands. She only has 2 more transfers left so we both think we'll be comps for 2 transfers. She's really been taking care of me, I feel bad cuz we've been stuck at the pad for awhile. :( The area is dead. We have no investigators or appointments set up. So there is a lot of work to do, no time to be sick. So no matter what tomorrow we're getting to work. I should feel better by then anyway. We had to deliver some things to Sister Sandoval in Laie and I met Sister Pinder.... I think Grandma and Grandpa Hillyard talked to her at the Visitor Center while they were here. She said someone asked if she knew a Sister Brough. So that would be cool. I'm sad to hear about Chris Lowe.... do I know him? Well..... just a background..... Sister Dalton told me yesterday that a very special sister needed to be called to have sister T as a comp..... yup, I'm the only Sister that can drive that can handle her. She is crazy and out of control but so far it's been really nice. so hopefully it will stay that way. Pray for me! I'm really bummed to leave Maui... it was really hard. But I'll hopefully get called to serve there again. I have a feeling I'll be here for the next 6 months though. The ward seems great. A lot of return missionaries. The Bishopric isn't very missionary oriented so that'll be hard. Just a lot of work to do. I do feel like I am suppose to be at this area, so I'm excited to see what happens. Oh mom.... when you send lil packages I was thinking of some things other than candy you can send :) dried fruit! I love dried fruit! and it's healthy! Well I attached a pic of me and Sister Teururu eating some better than you know what cake that a recent convert made. :) This was before I got sick... and maybe why I got sick??? lol. Well I love you and I'll talk to you more next week! Love you!

January 10, 2011

Ya I've been hearing it's freezing there.... It made me chuckle the other day it was 70 degrees here and I was FREEZING!!!! yup socks a jacket and a blanket. ha, I'm going to die when I get home. Well for news... I'm getting transferred back to Oahu. :( pretty upset about it, I just got here but the Lord needs me somewhere else. I hope that I'll get to serve on Maui again before I'm done with the mission. It was neat my district is crazy tight and I guess Elder Kamai is good friends with one of the assistants and he tried to talk them into changing it so I could stay. He dies this transfer, I'm giving Kirsten's info to him cuz I think they'd have fun together. lol. anyway, I might need you to send me my red pea coat cuz church in Hawaii is freezing! also if you could get me the D&C DVD's that would be awesome. they are super cheap and awesome. they have the Joseph Smith movie on them. Anyway... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!! On the 13th! I'm sending you a Birthday Card today.... maybe you'll get it in time??? no clue. Well everything is good. We have a baptism on Saturday... Christine Kaauwai she is 9 years old. super cute.... so sad that I'm going to miss it. So weird thing... my right eye randomly twitches it's so annoying and weird!!!! hopefully that will stop soon. Well.... we don't' have much time cuz it's my last pday and gotta develop pics and see people. Pray that I'll have a good area and me and my comp will get along!!!! LOVE YOU!!!!

January 3, 2011

Sounds like it was a pretty good and chill New Years, there's a pic of most of the zone new years eve at the stake pres house eating ice cream from a rain gutter. we got to stay up til 1230 am then woke up at 4am to go to Haleakala to see the sun rise. the pic with food is how much food the Tongans feed us... yup all of that is just for us?! NUTS. Well Last Monday we attempted to hike up to the L (on the mtn) with our district and got lost lol. yup it was funny and it got dark the Puha's came up to look for us.... we're stupid. but yeah new years was fun, we have to drive 1 hr to meet with the elders and to where the stake pres house was we just ate played games, chilled.... saw a few fireworks. then yup up to Haleakala went to breakfast with our district, went mini golfing, bought shaved ice and looked at stores, went to the Elders place got blankets and chilled on the grass. and ya just had fun all day. It was nice. It was a slow week cuz of the holidays and the Tongans all went up to camp. But it was good. Love you!
Love Sister Brough

December 27, 2010

It was great talking to you too!!! It was really special having Grandma and Grandpa there. They are going to have so much fun in Hawaii.... if they do decide to go to my old wards that would be awesome! Sister Hauata would LOVE it! Just tell them to call the sisters to get directions and the address 808-778-4078. It's in Aiea. They don't' have to go but it would be cool if they are in the area. i think the movie night is a really good idea mom! You need to get those girls unified! :) Oh I sent a package off today with some things for some people and things that were given to me but I don't' have room for it. If you have any questions email me when you get it. I just put the Christmas cards and things for Kirst in it too to save on postage. So will you all pray for the member that take care of us here? They are so nice and seriously take care of us, we are very spoiled. We had dinner at Bishops (Tongan Ward)on Christmas and his Sister Taufa (they live in the same house) talked with us and gave us a present she went and bought us crocs. (shoes) mine are tan and have a heel cuz "I'm pretty short" lol. They just slide on it was so nice of her! I should send you a pic of what they feed us.... we had ribs, chicken, salad, this purple yam they eat, sheep meat, just lots of food, and it's just us eating. Tongans don't eat with us. They get us loads of food and we eat they talk to us or just let us be and eat either before or after we get there.... it's weird but it's their culture. Oh so tell Kirsten I saw Jessica Hoopes (Heiner) and her husband (also from SV) at church. I felt bad cuz so much was on my mind and I didn't recognize them.... her name sounds familiar but I don't know who she is. but it was cool they came up and said hi. So tell Kirsten to tell them I say sorry if i seemed rude :S SO funny story. k so we went to teach some less actives (Tongans) with some active members, we go and ask one question, and it gets into a family feud they are talking in Tongan we have no idea what is being said or going on and Tongans are scary when they are mad... anyway one of the less actives turns and asks us the same question. so sister Edwards answers and get emotional (the spirit, or so we thought) and I answer. They weren't made at us but there was family tention before we got there and they would answer the question in a way to get at the other person.... anyway we get to the car and just laughed.... no idea what just happened but we had a return appointment and they said it was good... ha, man oh man. anyway sister Edwards told me in the car she wasn't crying cuz of the spirit she was crying cuz she was so scared of the Tongan. So another crazy story.... so Etina (Tongan) went on a mission to Cali long time ago and she was telling us stories so get this. She had a companion for 5 1/2 months cuz she was the only one who could handle her. one night she wakes up and her comp (Sister Shumway) is gone so she had to pray for the Spirit to help her find her comp.... she got the feeling to go behind the mall (3am) and there was this chanting.... she walks over and hears "Sister Donna Sister Donna" and Sisiter Shumway preaching and these homeless guys chanting and bowing themselves down to her and just crazy.... Etina was all" ya when we got home I checked her (threw her up against the wall) she was so mad.... it doesn't sound funny in the email but it was really funny. She has choke stories about that crazy comp! Well life is good. PDay is good. Thanks again for the presents the skirt is awesome and I got compliments at church on the shirt you gave me! It's all great!!! :) Well I better get going, Love you all!!! Take care!

Mandy's Christmas

December 20, 2010

MOM!!!!! Malo lele!!!!
Sounds like the Christmas party was a blast! IT would've been fun to play the water cup shooting game for sure! Thanks for the pics! Kirsten is looking really good! Has she been losing weight? That's crazy about the ward! So is their still that Salt River or whatever that other ward was when they split us years ago? ha I bet Kirst is happy about Mr Milne being the new bishop. lol.
Well, another week has gone by, crazy, this transfer is half way over it's gone by way too fast! We've been teaching a lot so thats good the Tongans just keep setting the appts up for us and tell us when and where to go. It's nice. We had a small earthquake the other day. it was pretty sweet, it was during our companionship study and we both just sat there and stared at each other all confused, first thing out of our months was did that just happen? SWEET! lol. Thanks for the 14 days of Christmas! It's been really fun! and everything I've opened so far has been amazing! The thoughts/questions are really good too! Did you come up with them? Did you know the Laurels sent me the 12 days of Christmas? You'll have to tell them all I say THANK YOU!!! IT was such a nice little surprise and so sweet of them. I really appreciated it. Did Dad get his Birthday card from me?! How was his Birthday?! I was thinking of him! I'm sure it was great! Oh so about the Christmas phone call.... have the home phone on and loud cuz we can call whenever, but I'll probably call in the am.... early. well for me early. I only have 40 min to talk :( Mission rule and my comp is very obedient and I should be too even though I'd love to talk to ya'll longer! I'm thinking it might be between 7-10am your time. so heads up! but we will see.... the number I'll be calling from is 808-298-7860. It's our cell so if for some crazy reason you miss my call, call me back! Oh and I LOVE the CD's!!! Thank you so much! It's saved our boredom so much! we were dying. thank you and the earrings are awesome! So much fun! I'm wearing them right now as we speak :) I still can't believe it's almost Christmas!!! Too crazy, I"m glad it's not snowing here cuz I would get way homesick for sure. I still feel like summer,... well now that I'm used to it it's like spring weather. lol. It's around 72 degrees and i have a cardigan on and it's cold. lol. makes me giggle. I'm going to die when i come home. Well I hope ya'll have a great week! I'm so stoked to talk to ya'll on Christmas so make sure everyone is up! :) na, ya'll are always up about 8am anyways. Thanks for all the gifts and emails and pics! It's so good to hear from ya'll! I hope you enjoy the pics..... the baptism pics are of Yolanda and Qunner, they were baptized this last Sat. AMAZING ladies! They are so much fun! And are doing great! Love you and miss you all!

Sister Edwards and Mandy
Crazy they are dividing the ward!!! I didn't know Osmond got so big!!! Crazy stuff happening down there! Well Things have been awesome here, the members have scheduled a lot of our appts so we just have to show up, we will have to go on splits this week more than likely, which is good to be that busy but kinda stressful cuz we have to find 2 ladies that will be able to. We have 2 baptisms on Saturday so that is super exciting. their names are Yolanda and Quner. way sweet ladies from the Micronesian islands. We found 4 new investigators last week 2 with a date and we'll get the other 2 when we teach them later this week. So the work here has been awesome. I got a package from Grandma last week. Tell her THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!! I LOVED everything in it and the cardigan fits perfectly!!! So the weather here is always 70-90 degrees BUT in the church it's like 40.... they CRANK up the AC!!! We freeze in there. It's so so so so cold so we always have to wear jackets/cardigans to church. So I was extremely excited to get a new one! And socks! ha, you wouldn't think we'd get cold here but we do! Brittney Smith sent me a lil package too. it was so nice!!! So thank you all!!!! Mom I'll let you know when i get the package. It doesn't feel like Christmas at all... people have their lights up and everything but with it being no snow I feel like it's still summer. Mom I can't wait for you and dad to come back with me and see this place!! You will love it! So save up your pennies cuz you both are going to come with me.... I'll find a way to get my own ticket so just worry about yourselves! So The Tongan ward Christmas party was on Friday... and Tongans know how to party! There was choke food and after they had a dance... the whole time music just blaring... we didn't know if we should stay or go. They told us we had to be there, and you don't' want to offend Tongans. It was like giving an alcoholic a drink and telling him not to drink it. I love music and dancing and I just had to sit there.... ug. But we did have 2 investigators there and picked up 2 so it was really good and everyone had a good time. The Bishops daughter (2 years old) danced the hula with some of the other members. I recorded it so I'll try to send it to you. It was the cutest thing ever. It's been a crazy but good week. The people are awesome and everyone is really nice even if they aren't interested so it's good. Anyway, Hows the weather? You have lots of snow? I hear ya'll been having storms lately. Sorry about Daniel.... that would be hard. Study Christlike Attributes, I think they'll help give you strength. they have me for sure! lol. I would probably kick that boys butt if i were home so I give you and Ryan props for doing your best with it. You'll have to let me know who the new bishopric is, I think change is exciting. ha, you and Kirsten would do good on a mission.... change is exciting but I even had a hard time leaving my area and coming here.... but I like to move as ya'll know. Well let me see if I can attach that video and pics for you. okay hopefully they work... That huge ring I got from the Tongan Party... pretty sweet huh?! Then there was this one day it rained like crazy so we got to wear our rain coats.... very exciting. The last is just a pic of us with the sunset. Well hope you are doing great!!!! love hearing from ya... still don't know wha time I'll be calling but I'll let you know! I'm so excited to talk to everyone!!!!!!! :) LOVE YOU!

Malo lele Ohana!!!!!!
How is Ryan liking wrestling? So I am in Lahaina on Maui!!! It is BEAUTIFUL here!!! Seriously, if you're going to take a vacation come to Maui! We are about 1 hour away from any other missionary so we are on our own. We cover 2 wards Lahaina 1st and 2nd. The 2nd ward is a Tongan ward, it's very interesting and we are working on our Tongan. Malo lele is hello. So we will see how fast I can learn the language. I was studying Spanish but that will have to be on hold for a little bit. I did hear there are lots of Spanish people here though so i might need to learn both. Both wards are very missionary oriented and just set up appointments for us, they aren't scared of double booking us and having us go on splits. It's crazy, I don't' know why or how the Elders were having a hard time. This area was pretty slow. Our first day here we met the Bishop in the Tongan ward and when he found out we didn't have anything (they got us a new pad) he had the Relief Society Pres go out and by us food and other things we might need. Super nice huh?! and food.... well Tongans love to feed people so we aren't worried there and the 1st ward is awesome too.... This feels like Hawaii... We are pretty much the only haules here other than the Tourists. Our new pad is right by the beach, we actually live in a hotel that one of the members own so it's nice. We love it. Well let me rewind.... On Monday our Zone had a BBQ it was very chill and fun. and then we had an appt and I said good bye to some people. Tuesday I said goodbye and did appts too... I said goodbye to the Talenoa's and they had a going away party for me. They all took turns dancing. It was so much fun. The girls did a hula from their island the boys and Iso (old man) danced to some crazy rapish music it was HILARIOUS! and the mom and aunties danced too... we were laughing and clapping and things were just awesome. I'm going to miss that family so much! Bishop Tanaka showed up to drop off a cake for the family and said since I was leaving it was ok for him to give me a hug. lol. crazy man. I'm going to miss the Aliamanu ward! Then on Wed, me and Sister Edwards showed up on Maui!!! Like I said.... it's awesome! It feels like Hawaii now. Our ward mission leader for the 1st ward is Brother Sadang... he speaks pigeon so we have a hard time hearing him. We had dinner with him on Friday and he set it up so we were on a table right outside his house on the beach watching the sunset go down... I'll send a pic. We ate there again Sat night and his whole family was there. It was a good time, we just talked story and one of the uncles taught me the ukulele. Just some cords for now! I love it. Sunday was wonderful. We have meetings at 7 & 8 and both wards were all about missionary work and always having members to be at our appointments. :) 1st ward starts at 9 and its packed!!! The tourists all go to that ward. It was a very good meeting. Brother Blye (ward missionary) came and talked to us after Sacrament and said he recieved revelation, that Pres Dalton was very inspired to send us there and it was his job to keep us busy and to move the work forward.... he is a crazy man, but I thought it was very neat cuz Pres said the same thing to us.... he expects us to make this area boom. No pressure right? :S Then at 1pm We have the 2nd ward. they give us headsets so we can hear the translation. its' cool. We have 2 investigators from the Macronacion Islands that go to that ward. lol. they don't' speak Tongan but they love it. Things are going great! Sister Edwards loves to run so we've been running every morning which has been awesome! I never thought I would miss it, but man I do! Well Ya'll are great! I love you so much!!!! And hope you will have a great Christmas!!!!! I don't' know when we'll be calling... but when i know I'll let you know! much Aloha!

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was really good. we had a bomb dinner at a members. they had choke food! and packed us up enough to last for weeks. It was awesome. Then we met up with the Zone and played bball and just chilled... i just chilled cuz I ate so much I thought I was going to throw up!!! I think I'm getting sick too.... After I eat I get nausea. oh well. So Dora got baptized on Saturday!! I will have to say it was a pretty awesome service. She had a lot of support from her family. After she was baptized she kept telling us thanks for not giving up on her. I about cried. She is such a neat lady! I'm going to miss her.... cuz yup.... I'm getting transferred.... and I wont tell you how I found out all this info BUT I am going to MAUI!!!!! dead serious... I'll be covering 2 wards a family ward and a tongan ward! my pad is by the beach. :S :) and my companion will be Sister Edwards. which we are so siked about! We are white washing in and ya we are opening the area for Sisters. President called this morning and said that he expects us to put the place on fire, and that the Lord really wants us there (he doesn't know I know who my comp is) It's a tourist area..... very beautiful. I'll fly in Wed morning. So that's exciting. I am very sad to be leaving Aliamanu/Halawa though. I've really gained some great relationships with the members and investigators. I had a feeling I would be leaving so I did get pics with the ones I'm really close to. Hum... what else is new this week... oh Vincent Talenoa (investigator) is in jail... he'll be there for 10 days for drinking.... so that's a bummer and the bright side he can't chew/drink... so maybe it will help him quit. His son and friend (Iso) came to church on Sunday and that was really neat. We had to talk to Josen (the son) though. He called us at midnight the night before. not okay. but we were nice and told him no more. Crazy kid. We did service on the USS Missouri on Wed and got a sweet tour. it was a lot of fun.... hum.... yeah. Been a great week. I think someone is stealing my stuff... my ipod chargers are gone and I can't remember where I put my bob Marley shirts.... did Cari Stadler give them to you? I might have sent them home with her. no clue... very bummed though. Will Grandma and Grandpa be in Maui? Ha, how funny would it be if I ran into them!?! Tell them they will LOVE Hawaii. I know they already know this but the weather is great. I've actually been cold... lol... yup it was like 75 degrees and I went and grabbed some socks and a jacket... hahah. makes me giggle. Well I'll attach some pics for you. Love you so much! Thanks for everything! Tell the familia I say hi! and to send me pics! I just love pics! :) Oh I'm sending you a package today... I bought little things for the family. I'll put a note for the rest of the stuff.... oh guess what?! ha, i accidentally shrunk my tan skirt :( so it's too short. Man oh Man. Well shootz. Oh and Sister Hauata is training a baby!!!! yup a greenie! I'm so excited for her! She's way nervous but she'll do amazing!
aloha nui loa!

Things are good. We've been staying really busy. on Saturday Elder Piper and his wife (quorum of the 70) came and spoke to us. It was awesome. He gave us some more training and we're really excited about it. Dora will be having her baptism on Nov 27th!!! We are so excited for her! She's just amazing! and then later Sat night we were able to go watch the Cultural Celebration so that was way fun and nice. Sunday was the dedication of the Laie Temple. We were able to watch it. It was beautiful. such a nice day. we taught some lessons and committed Vincent Talenoa to baptism!!! :) His date is Dec 30-he smokes, drinks, and chews- so pray for him that he will have strength to quit! He's been doing great though. We want to commit the rest of his family soon. There is like 8 others we are teaching. They have a hard time coming to church because of work but we are going to work on that :) So things are good here. I'm learning not to stress a lot cuz stressing is never a good thing. I'll be so much more chill and relaxed when I get back you won't know what to do with yourselves! lol. Well I love you all and miss ya'll! Keep up the good work with the house! Much aloha!

Oh and no worries we have a place to go for Thanksgiving :) AND i really hope i stay in this area for another transfer cuz will the Barvilala's are feeding me on my birthday and it'll be CRAZY! :) so much fun! and it'd be fun to have Christmas with members I know. Transfers are next Wed so we'll find out soon! LOVE YA!

Aloha!!!!
Hum...... That's good dads been busy with work. I know this time of year gets a bit rough. Tell Ryan congrats on his van!!! That's so exciting! and I still am in shock he is wrestling. Let me know how that goes! Crazy kid! Because I took over the area, I've been so stressed. and Sister Hauata is amazing but she is poly, so she is very slow to get going and it takes a bit to make her be on time. lol. and you know me... haha, so yeah, I've chilled out a lot but I've been stressed cuz it's like I'm training her sometimes. But we have a lot of fun. She's teaching me Tahitian dancing! yup! I'm learning to move my hips faster than i could before. Well this week has been interesting and good. Dora is doing awesome! She went with her family to the temple open house and just LOVED it. she was so amazed at how beautiful it was. She is still a bit hesitant on her baptismal date set for the 26th. Her 50th birthday is Jan 25 and she thinks that would be an awesome time to get baptized, cuz of all the meaning. Which I see but it wouldn't be good for her to wait. and then her granddaughter Kyana wants to be baptized but we haven't' gotten permission from her dad to teach her yet, and if we get permission she'll want to get baptized the same day as her. Which I totally understand, so hopefully her dad says yes and we can baptize both on the 26th :) Kyana is 8 years old and LOVES the Book of Mormon. She's been reading it and coming to church. She's awesome. The Talenoa family is doing good. They were able to go to the Temple as well and loved it so much. We just gotta get him to stop smoking and chewing :S and that's always rough. but I love their family so much. We stopped by last night to see them and we have an appt tomorrow and 2 on wed. lol... yup we are hitting them hard. but they love us so it's okay. I was able to go on 2 exchanges this week. the first was on wed with Sister Braun (we were in the MTC together) we had so much fun. I love the people she is teaching such awesome humble people. We taught a lady in her 40s named Angela, she is on probation, and just the sweetest lady ever, we showed up and they (her and her mom) had lunch for us and was so excited to learn more. The Spirit was so strong when we taught her the Atonement... I think she has 3 years left on probation though so it's tough. We did some tracting and ran into a man that I'm pretty sure the devil was in him so that was interesting. :S and after we met this awesome/crazy Catholic man. He goes to mass everyday, but loves missionaries. ha he gave us cookies, and invited us to come back and after our message he'll share one of his. lol. crazy old man. but it was really nice after having the devilish man. Then on Saturday Sister Sandoval came to my area on exchange. She is from LA, she is Spanish speaker Visitor Center Sister. but she has been out of the VC for 7 months (was only there her first transfer) she is hilarious. We had a good time. We taught the Johnson family with the Elders to help them to transfer to them... mom I'm really sad about handing them over. They are AMAZING! the spirit is so strong there always, they are so open and wanting to learn, they went to the temple too. and even though the wife is Catholic she is so interested in our church and AHHHH!!! They are "golden" Sister Sandoval as soon as we left looked at me and was like.... ya that sucks you have to hand them over... yup. but The Elders are going to keep me posted on things. hum... yeah, things are awesome. Love the work I'm so glad that I decided to serve a mission. I've learned SO MUCH! It's crazy to me to think that I didn't go to church for that time a couple years ago... ha, I guess I do things the hard way but it got me here so it's good. Hum for Christmas I would LOVE it if you could talk to Rosa and get me some of the Isagenix cleanse (powder form) you can even use my money. I NEED it!!! I feel so gross here. They eat a lot of carbs and well carbs make me feel sluggish and fat :( but that's it. oh if you have an extra charger for the ipod shuffle i would love you to send it to me :) if not it's okay cuz I have my other ipod. but yeah that and Mary Kay acne treatment. I'm good on everything else. :) So don't worry about it. Oh lies. I would love more pics! recent once! Well I love you all so much!!!! Thanks for all your support and prayers! They help SO MUCH! Have a GREAT Day!!!!!
much aloha

Hickam Airforce Base

November 8, 2010

Hey Mom! Sounds like you've had a very very busy week. What is that Children's Book we have about Christs Birth? We are in charge of sharing that story at our Aliamanu Christmas party. If you have any ideas that would make it more fun let me know. We only have about 10 min. So Tues-Thursday the Mission President took all the missionaries (90) on Ohau out of our areas to go through some training from 8am-3pm. It was awesome! We were worried about our area while we were gone but the lord blessed us and since the training we've felt a lot different and our lessons are much more powerful. We had an amazing lesson with Vincent Talenoa's family. He is doing great and told us how this week has been much better for him and he's been happier and he knows it because he went to church. Bishop and another member were there. Later Bishop went and bought Vincent 2 white shirts and ties. :). It was so good. We went on Thursday to visit the Hoffmans. I've talked about them earlier. They aren't investigators yet and it's so funny to me cuz I'm so close to that family. lol. Shawn Hoffman(dad) calls us on base whenever we have appts and need to get on. So they've helped us to teach, but hadn't started teaching them... yet. Thurs night we went over to introduce Sister Hauata to them and we talked about the temple open house and yup we have an appt with them Sunday to teach!!! :) We are so excited. I absolutely LOVE this family. :) Friday we got 2 referrals and saturday found out that they are in our District Leaders area and we are so sad. One is Katrina and Jason, We taught them and they were excited to learn more. Jason is a very less active member and Katrina was raised Catholic. They went to the temple and loved about families forever and the spirit they felt. They will have hurdles though, they live together, and have a little problem with the word of wisdom. But it will be good. we have an appt with them next week with the Elders to transition them over to them. And the other referral is this amazing family the Johnsons. Matt (dad) is in the Navy. both him and his wife were born and raised Catholic but he has lost his faith due to some things in his past. They have 3 kids. and the lesson was amazing! The wife (Sandra) was so surprised and excited to hear that we were coming. Her husband hadn't been interested in going to church or anything until now. She has strong faith in God. We are really sad to give them to the Elders too.... :( But it'll be good. We have an appt with them next as well with the Elders. Oh Sat we got this random call from a guy named Kurtis, me and Sister Stadler street contacted him awhile back and he wasn't interested but took our pass along card. He is going through a hard time and saw our card and called us. so we went over and talked about Christ and his love for us. He is about 50-60 years old and an amazing musician! he writes his own music and it is all about Christ. Seriously if he had a CD I would buy it! He wont set an appt with us though, just said if we have free time and feel like we should see him to call and come by. so we'll see. Sunday was amazing! Sam our 12 year old investigator whose mom won't let her get baptized,... well she usually comes to church with the Rudoloph family but they are on the mainland anyway, we saw her at church with the Redd family and she went up and bore her testimony!!! It was amazing we found out later that she called 5 families to see about getting a ride to church, and finally called the Redds and they went and got her! I thought it was amazing! Well Andrews work schedule got all crazy, we were about to meet with him this week but he is now gone on a sub for 3 weeks, then he'll be back for 2-3 days gone again for a couple weeks and back for a few days then deployed for 6 months... so pray for him that he will continue to read the Book of Mormon and pray. Dora is doing great! Things are good :) Thank you for all your support and prayers! LOVE YOU ALL and MISS YOU ALL!

MOM!!!!! The baptism went wonderful!!!! It was so nice. I'll send you a pic. She is such a funny woman. lol. So ya, the baptism went well, me and Sister Hauata sang lead kindly light... lol.... man I'm going to have an AMAZING voice after my mission cuz of the singing I've been doing :S so out of my comfort level! I got a package from Kirsten and Brittney on Tuesday too and a letter from Ashli Draney. So Tues was a GREAT day! On Justin's Birthday we had our ward (Aliamanu ward) Halloween party... and WOW, I'll try to send pics... they went all out. the theme was candy land and they transformed the church into candy land. it was so much fun. we had 2 investigating families come. one was Dora and her nonmember daughter and granddaughter. They had so much fun. I'll attach a pic of them. and the Talenoa family... they are from a Micronesian island. They had a blast too. Vincent even came to church on Sunday and stayed all 3 meetings. :) His family was investigating months ago and then was dropped cuz they wouldn't come to church and they drink. so hopefully this go around will end differently and we can help them out. Andrew came to all of church too.... and we taught him Word of Wisdom(he came with coffee to our lesson) and he dumped it out and has been doing great! he even bought church clothes! He is just awesome. We've been doing a lot of teaching and the lessons have been amazing but nothing to huge yet other than what I've shared. I love you all so much! thank you so much for your prayers and support! Ya'll are awesome! :D Oh and Andrew has a baptism date for Nov 17... Pray for him and Dora, she has one for Nov 26. :) LOVE YOU

Sounds crazy!!! I can't believe another kid Kevin's age died!!!! So this week has been the craziest most stressful no bueno week ever. But it started good. On Monday we went on a hike to Pali Lookout. It is so pretty! I took pics and will send some to you when I get the chance. But it's where King Kamehameha won his last battle over the Islands so it's pretty cool. Wed we had a dope lesson with Jinnyson and Cameron. Jinnyson is 19 years old we taught him once a few weeks ago and because of his work schedule hadn't seen him since and Cameron is an uncle i think or something that lives in the same house... but Jinnyson was so excited to see us, he had been reading the Book of Mormon and even went online to learn more about Joseph Smith, luckily he didn't get into any thing bad or too false. we cleared him up on that and he wants to go to church but can't cuz of work. he works from 9 am-10pm. :( so we're praying that his boss will let him have Sundays off soon. Cameron had been investigating the church in Kiloa and just loves it, he was going to come to church but was still sleeping when we stopped by on Sunday to show him the way. We had drama earlier weds too with Charlene, so it was just intense. BUT I got a package from Ray and from Grandma which just made my day!!!!! I LOVED everything! I'm going to write grandma a letter today but tell her Mahalo and to wait for my letter :) Ray is doing great. Later that night we had a cottage meeting which is at the mission Pres house. They have recent converts share their conversion story it's amazing, we brought Sia and her cousin to it. They loved it. Also lol thought you'd love this mom, We taught a lesson strictly on modesty to Sia cuz her Aunt she is living with had some concerns. The lesson was a hit and Sia got rid of all her immodest clothes. Friday was Sia's Baptism it went awesome... .i didn't tell you but she wanted me and Sister Stadler to sing so we did... i was so nervous. we sang a child's prayer and i had to do the 2nd verse all by myself!!! AH! and now Charlene, who is getting baptized (finally) on the 26th wants me to sing at hers.... man oh man, i should've done voice lessons. Anyway yesterday was good I fasted with a member to help her heal from somethings then we had 2 dinners... yup 2.... :S one right after the other, just cuz Sister Stadler is leaving, but hum... i might be in the states but did you know this mission is the most international? It has 27 different languages which Sister Stadler can greet in like 20 different languages... and so the food is also very international. our first dinner was a turkey dinner with veggies but our last dinner was with the Villejos from the Philippines... we had chicken feet.... yes i ate it, shrimp... you eat everything including the head... which includes the brains and eyes... yup. then we had rice and chicken and normal stuff but it was intense. lol. Then i officially saw my first cockroach... it was a flying one and decided to fly and land on me... they are huge and yes i freaked out a little. they are ugly things. Well thats my week! Love ya'll so much!!!!! Thanks for all you do!!! Also do you remember Stephanie Turner? she's about 26 years old.... anyway she is in the Halawa Ward... yup. From Osmond Wyoming, her sister was a year older than me, Angela. Love you!

MOM!!!!!! WHATS UP!??!?! Well this last week was crazy. Wed was transfers and I won't lie I was kinda nervous but my companion is sister Hauata from Tihiti. And we've been having a lot of fun together. We have 2 new investigators... one is Andrew he is 20 years old and in the Navy, he has a baptism date of Nov 17... pray for him! His girlfriend in Florida isn't very supportive... like at all. but he has already prayed and knows that the Book of Mormon is true and he says it just all makes sense. He went to all 3 meeting at church as well.. and yup we saw him 3 times this last week. He is just doing awesome. And then the other one is David he is in the Army, married with 2 little girls. They are just looking for the right church for them. We taught him last night and it went very well. so we are way excited. the Aliamanu leaders have totally become more supportive of missionary work which shocked me and we're so excited! We'll be staying busy busy. Tomorrow is Charlene's baptism. So that's exciting, it's the first baptism of me doing everything, Sister Hauata has been out 10 months but she hasn't done a program before. :S it's been good. We are singing Lead Kindly Light as the musical number... ha, if only i could sing! Right?! oh boy.... but yeah, it's weird not having Cari here..... I'm leading the area and I feel like I'm training. kinda weird. but just helping with English and She has me lead the lessons.. so it's been different but really good. tell Cari I say hi!!!! :D Well That's all for this week.... Man, Ryan is just getting torn apart huh? Tell him i say way to go! Means he's playing hard! lol. Tell Justin happy birthday for me! I don't' have his email address or else I would! Tell everyone hi and I love them and I'll talk to ya'll next week! Much love!

October 11, 2010

That's AWESOME about Ryan at the JV game!!! Tell him I'm so proud of him!!!!! And let me know about his collar bone!!!! I hope he is okay, that's intense! I did get your package and thank you SO MUCH! I took some pics with the Halloween decorations :) loved it and the cookies are awesome and the shirts LOVE THEM! I'm going to send yours back though cuz I'm okay and that shirt looks too darn cute on you momma! ;) I'm going to write you a letter back to your letter cuz I don't' have too much time today. Thanks for the pics and my card!! :). Whats going on with Grandma's Eyes? give her a hug and a kiss for me and i 'll pray for her! That's awesome you've been enjoying working there! :) I love it! :)!
Well as for my week, it's been nuts! Such a crazy week, Tuesday we went on exchanges so I was with Sister Hauata again, it was a lot of fun, she is crazy! :) We committed Sapina to a baptism date of Nov 6. she is from the Philippines a really sweet lady in her 60's so we were really excited about that. Wed we were able to teach Josiah (10 year old member)'s grandma, Dora, she is soo soo sweet and has been to church twice already and says she loves it and she's noticed it's helped her out a lot during the week. We met with Charlene as well, she has a date for the 19th of this month! She is doing awesome! And we have Sia with a baptism this Friday, so we've been staying really busy. We did have to drop an investigator though, Thomas, he just isn't ready. We did feel like it was the right thing to do, but it's still sad. Especially when you know how bad they need the blessings and how the gospel can help them get through their trials. On Friday we got a new investigator names Gregg Gow, he is in the military and such a polite respectful man. He went to the Visitor Center with his brother and sister-in-law (member) and requested a Book Of Mormon, he wants to learn more and is really interested in Joseph Smith. We gave him some reading assignments cuz we won't see him again til the end of the month cuz he is going to Guam for work. Saturday was really interesting, we got Dayton, the ward missionary to come with us to some lessons, and then they all cancelled so we taught him. He is 21 years old and is trying to get out on a mission. So we taught him about Missionary work and it was AWESOME! He is so stoked and gave us his work schedule so we can let him know when we have appointments when he doesn't work so he can come with us. so he'll be like our 3 companion so to say. it'll be so nice to have a member with us. Members are SO IMPORTANT! Later that night we had a fall festival in Halawa Ward, they did a Chili Cook Off and then trunk or treating. it was so much fun, most everyone dressed up. We had the Hoffmans show up (investigators) and they just LOVED it and had such a great time. And we were able to meet another nonmember that we have an appointment with to teach so she could be an investigator soon too. :) It's so nice to have the members and ward leaders be so into missionary work. Sunday I was at church from 6:30am-3:30pm.... and went to 3 different sacrament meetings. lol. yup. It was good. we went to both of our wards as usual but Charlene slept in so we told her we would go to the Aiea Ward with her. Then we had back to back appointments the rest of the night. One was with Dora and she is still doing great, Josiah is so excited that she is taking the lessons. She also has a lot of support from her ex husband and one of her daughters who are members too. We taught a 18 year old boy, JunJun, too... and it's so neat to see the Spirit and his desire to learn more grow. He told us he wants to come to church next week and he loves how learning makes him feel. He lives with members so it's good. It helps them out so much when they have that support. Well that's a brief overview on everything so far!! Transfers are the 20th so I'll get a new companion crazy, pray that we get along lol. I'll be staying in this area for sure, wouldn't make sense to move me so that's good, i really love it here and have been able to see a lot. Well I gotta go! Love you all so much and miss you! Ya'll are great! Oh and I'm sending some of my things home that I don't' need here. I'll save up and send gifts home around Christmas but don't plan on much until I come home cuz well there is nothing Hawaiian cool in this area at least :)
Love you!
